Ok, I've probably given this 4 stars for nostalgic purposes as I saw this a few times some years back and loved it and despite looking a bit dated, The Craft is still a fun, dark teen horror.
Funny, bitchy, and awesomely retro ode to '90s female empowerment. Well worth a Halloween viewing.
After beginning a new school she meets up with three girls in the school, these three are outcasts and have reputations and are often given a hard time by the other kids at their school. They can do anything, from getting thier dream guys to like them to... the possibilities are limitless. Really fun! This is a region free Blu-ray import. Looking to watch The Craft? I remember not being allowed to watch this "hellfire and witches" movie when it came out cause if I did Jesus would cry or something. Directed by Andrew Fleming. It's cheesy, directed like a play, and overall awesome. This movie is a classic for 90's goth kids like myself. When our main female character joins their group she soon learns their interest in magic and it does not take long for them to convince her to join them.nancy is leader of the group and her interests are almost foremost in her mind and actions. Now, I hate when people give too much of the plot away, so I won't do that. Fun fact: my fiance's late uncle plays the old bus driver in the middle of the movie. Fairuza Balk is excellent as Nancy! This movie was pivotal to my teen years and I still have a mini movie poster of it framed in my house. There is a pretty good storyline and great sound track, some cute guys and bonding teenage female friendship.

Bit of a cult classic. Just how I remembered, not suitable for under 15 in my opinion due to language and some themes and scenes I'll just focus on the highlights: These girls have individual challenges to overcome and witchcraft helps them get what they want.
